Responsibilities:
- Own complex initiatives end-to-end: discovery, architecture, implementation, release, and maintenance.
- Drive architectural decisions for scalable savings and banking platforms; design resilient, secure APIs and services.
- Collaborate closely with Product and Design to influence trade-offs and ensure strong user outcomes.
- Lead reliability, security, and long-term maintainability efforts; improve infrastructure, tooling, and developer workflows.
- Mentor engineers, raise engineering standards, and contribute to technical direction and operational excellence.

Requirements:
- 5+ years of professional software engineering experience with proven ownership of production systems.
- Strong distributed systems, architecture, and cloud-native/microservices experience (Go, Python preferred).
- Experience building highly-available APIs, ensuring security and maintainability in regulated environments.
- High ownership mindset, excellent communication, and ability to work autonomously with stakeholders.
- EU working rights preferred; fintech or regulated environment experience is a strong plus.
