Responsibilities:
- Build and maintain software that converts production data into auditable Lifecycle Assessments (LCA) and Environmental Product Declarations (EPDs).
- Translate environmental science and ISO/EN standards into maintainable, traceable code and calculations.
- Lead feature discovery with manufacturers, ship assessment tools and iterate based on direct user feedback.
- Expand LCA/EPD generation to new product categories and regions; identify gaps and plan workstreams.
- Work closely with LCA experts to model complex standards and ensure repeatable, auditable outputs.

Requirements:
- 5+ years professional software engineering experience with strong proficiency in Python and/or TypeScript.
- Demonstrated ability to work analytically and translate complex domain rules into software.
- Experience taking features end-to-end: discovery, implementation, deployment and iteration with users.
- Familiarity with data pipelines, databases (PostgreSQL/Redis), backend frameworks (FastAPI/gRPC) and cloud infrastructure (Kubernetes, AWS/Azure).
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with domain experts; experience with standards (ISO/EN) is a plus.
