## About the role

Responsibilities:
- Design and implement AI-driven features (Logo Maker, AI Images, AI Videos) using FastAPI and asyncio.
- Chain internal and external services to build media generation pipelines and ensure reliability.
- Optimize performance, scale FastAPI services, and reduce latency using Datadog, caching and profiling.
- Build and maintain integration and end-to-end tests; own feature delivery from design to production.
- Collaborate with AI, product and infra teams to define architecture and operational requirements.

Requirements:
- 5+ years production experience with Python and async web frameworks (FastAPI or equivalent).
- Deep understanding of asyncio: identify blocking calls, offload CPU-bound work, protect the event loop.
- Experience designing scalable REST/internal APIs, integration testing, and wiring multiple services.
- Familiarity with monitoring/observability (Datadog) and performance optimization techniques.
- Startup experience and high autonomy; bonus: production experience with AI APIs.

## Responsibilities

Design and implement AI features for the Photoroom app by chaining internal and external services. Monitor and scale FastAPI services using Datadog to optimize performance and eliminate bottlenecks.

## Requirements

Minimum 5 years of production experience with Python and FastAPI, with a deep understanding of asynchronous programming. Proven track record of designing scalable REST APIs and working in high-autonomy startup environments.
