## About the role

Responsibilities:
- Design, develop and maintain software for instrument control, automated test rigs and data acquisition.
- Architect reusable test frameworks, libraries and tooling that meet reliability, performance and maintainability goals.
- Implement measurement algorithms, data processing and visualisations; validate accuracy and repeatability.
- Integrate and commission test systems, select and interface measurement instruments and build test fixtures.
- Diagnose and resolve hardware/software integration issues; support manufacturing and lab validation activities.
- Provide technical guidance, participate in code reviews and produce clear technical documentation and test procedures.

Requirements:
- Degree in engineering, physics, computer science or equivalent and 5+ years’ experience in test automation/software engineering.
- Strong C#/.NET development skills; experience with Git and writing testable, maintainable code.
- Practical experience with instrument interfaces and protocols (GPIB, VISA, RS‑232, USB, TCP/IP) and common lab equipment (oscilloscopes, spectrum analysers, signal generators).
- Ability to develop measurement algorithms and perform statistical analysis on test data; Python for analysis is a plus.
- Strong troubleshooting, system integration skills and experience collaborating with hardware and cross-functional teams.
