## About the role

Responsibilities:
- Design, implement and maintain containerised Linux user-space services using modern Python.
- Integrate and apply approved AI-assisted tools to speed development and automate workflows where appropriate.
- Develop networking functionality (sockets, TCP/IP/UDP, protocol handling) and interact with Linux OS features.
- Build and expand automated test suites (unit, integration, end-to-end) and work within CI/CD pipelines.
- Interface with and debug legacy or embedded C/C++ subsystems and APIs.
- Participate in Agile teams delivering mission‑critical RF site solutions and follow DevOps practices.

Requirements:
- Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or equivalent (Bachelor's; Master's with experience acceptable).
- Strong proficiency in Python, Linux internals and networking fundamentals (socket programming, protocols).
- Experience with containerisation (Docker), CI/CD and automated testing frameworks.
- Ability to read and debug C/C++ code and integrate with lower-level components.
- Familiarity with RF/telecommunications systems is a plus; good communication and collaborative skills.
