Senior Software Engineer - Platform (d/f/m) at Scout24

Responsibilities:
- Build and operate a scalable, reliable compute platform on AWS and Kubernetes for product teams.
- Design and implement platform services for deployment, networking, load balancing and IAM.
- Create and maintain observability, alerting and incident response tooling (metrics, logs, traces).
- Automate infrastructure and delivery pipelines using IaC and CI/CD best practices.
- Mentor and coach peers, review designs and drive engineering quality across teams.
- Collaborate with product and engineering teams to prioritize platform initiatives that enable delivery.

Requirements:
- Several years of production experience with cloud providers (AWS) and Kubernetes at scale.
- Strong knowledge of networking, VPCs, load balancing and security in cloud environments.
- Experience with infrastructure as code (CDK/Terraform) and automated CI/CD pipelines.
- Proficiency in at least one modern language (TypeScript, Go, Python, Java, Kotlin) for tooling and automation.
- Familiarity with observability stacks (DataDog, ELK, Prometheus, OpsGenie or similar).
- Product-oriented mindset, strong communication and ability to influence engineering decisions.
