## About the role

Responsibilities:
- Design, implement and test Android applications for sensor data collection, demos and feature validation.
- Develop cross-platform desktop tools (Windows/Linux) for device control, data validation, visualization and post-processing using Java/Kotlin/C++/Python/.NET/C#.
- Build Java-based software components that follow industry best practices and design patterns.
- Work on prototype and reference platforms across mobile, wearables and smart‑glasses form factors.
- Collaborate with global systems, software and integration/test teams to validate sensor algorithms and support commercialization.
- Contribute to data processing pipelines, monitoring, troubleshooting and performance optimization; support field data collection campaigns.

Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in EE, CE, CS, Software Engineering or related field.
- 2+ years of software engineering experience, with strong Android development skills.
- Proficiency in Java and Kotlin; experience with C++, Python and cross-platform tool development is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with debugging on devices, data collection workflows, and building user-facing tools and GUIs.
- Good collaboration skills for cross-functional, international teams; occasional travel and hands-on field work may be required.
