Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, deploy, monitor, and scale ML and LLM-based platform services and secure microservices on AWS.
- Build reusable libraries, frameworks, and internal tooling to accelerate AI delivery across product teams.
- Collaborate with Applied Scientists, Product, and Engineering to productize AI ideas and embed them into customer-facing features.
- Own end-to-end service lifecycle: IaC (CDK/Terraform), CI/CD, containerization, observability, incident handling, and cost/performance tuning.
- Evaluate and pilot new AI tooling and platform patterns to improve performance, security, and developer productivity.

Requirements:
- 5+ years delivering secure, scalable cloud applications with strong software design and testing practices.
- Hands-on experience with Python and Node.js/TypeScript and building backend/microservices on AWS.
- Practical knowledge of containerization, Kubernetes, CI/CD, and IaC (AWS CDK or Terraform).
- Experience with LLM systems or adjacent AI technologies, plus familiarity with observability and model evaluation practices.
- Strong focus on privacy, security, governance, and operational excellence when handling sensitive customer data.
