## About the role

Responsibilities:
- Design, build and deploy components of a global cross-asset trade processing platform across phased deliverables.
- Develop services for trade capture, persistence, distribution and on-demand real-time access for downstream systems.
- Use Nomura DevOps processes to deploy to non-production and production environments.
- Provide system support (not first-line) and contribute to maintenance and incident resolution.
- Coordinate with other Global Markets teams to integrate capabilities and ensure reliable data flows.

Requirements:
- Strong Java development skills and understanding of testing and DevOps in the delivery lifecycle.
- Experience with distributed messaging (JMS, Apache Pulsar or Solace) and relational databases (MS SQL Server).
- Familiarity with Spring framework, Spring Boot and reactive frameworks (Project Reactor / Spring WebFlux) is desirable.
- Additional skills in JavaScript/React or Python are beneficial.
- Able to work effectively across time zones with strong communication and collaboration skills; interest in AI integration is a plus.
