Responsibilities:
- Own features end-to-end: design, implement, test, deploy and operate customer-facing functionality.
- Build scalable services and front-end components using Java, TypeScript, Spring and React.
- Deliver personalized experiences (e.g., Meal Planner, loyalty features) and ensure smooth performance at scale.
- Collaborate with product, design and analytics to translate user needs into reliable solutions.
- Maintain observability, CI/CD, and infrastructure-as-code for services running on AWS/Kubernetes.
- Participate in code reviews, automated testing and continuous improvement of platform reliability.

Requirements:
- Master’s degree in CS, AI, IT, Computer Engineering or a related field.
- 2–5 years professional experience in Java and backend development.
- Product mindset: choose pragmatic technical solutions to solve business problems and measure impact.
- Experience with AI tooling and comfort with agentic engineering concepts.
- Strong English communication skills; Dutch not required.
- Familiarity with the tech stack: Spring Boot, React, PostgreSQL/MongoDB, Docker, Kubernetes, Kafka/RabbitMQ, Terraform and AWS.
