Responsibilities:
- Design, implement and maintain backend services using Python and object-oriented principles.
- Develop and operate production-grade RESTful APIs (e.g., FastAPI) and automated test suites.
- Build and manage CI/CD pipelines and DevOps tooling using GitHub Actions, custom runners and JFrog Artifactory.
- Configure and maintain cloud infrastructure and deployment automation with AWS (CloudFormation, Terraform, Lambda, API Gateway, S3, EKS).
- Containerise applications (Docker) and support orchestration (Kubernetes/EKS) and packaging on Windows (MSIX) where required.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate software into robotics/aerospace systems and participate in product lifecycle activities.

Requirements:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science or equivalent industry experience.
- Strong production Python skills and experience building backend services and APIs.
- Experience with CI/CD tooling (GitHub Actions), cloud infrastructure (AWS) and infrastructure-as-code (Terraform/CloudFormation).
- Familiarity with Windows scripting (Powershell, Batch), packaging tools (MSIX) and build/artifact management (JFrog).
- Knowledge of containerisation (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes/EKS) and related operational concerns.
- Good communication, problem-solving skills and ability to work in a small collaborative engineering team.
