## About the role

Responsibilities:
- Build, operate, and improve production systems with a focus on reliability, scalability and performance.
- Automate operational tasks and reduce manual toil using production-quality code (Python, Go, or similar).
- Define and measure SLIs/SLOs and improve observability via metrics, dashboards, logging and tracing.
- Participate in on-call rotations, respond to incidents, perform post-incident reviews, and maintain runbooks.
- Analyze system behavior, capacity and scaling characteristics; identify and remediate reliability issues.
- Collaborate with product, platform and security teams to ship reliable, maintainable services.

Requirements:
- Experience operating cloud-native production systems and containerized workloads (e.g., Kubernetes).
- Strong coding skills in Python, Go or similar to automate operations and build tooling.
- Familiarity with AWS, Terraform or equivalent IaC, and observability tooling.
- Understanding of distributed system failure modes, incident management and capacity planning.
- Good communication, collaboration skills and willingness to participate in on-call rotations.

Ensure the reliability, scalability, and performance of critical platforms by automating operational tasks and reducing manual toil. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define SLIs/SLOs and participate in on-call rotations to resolve production incidents.

## Requirements
