## About the role

Responsibilities:
- Develop core features for card transaction systems on a distributed, low‑latency hybrid cloud platform.
- Write clean, unit-tested code and implement API contracts and automation within an agile team.
- Build and maintain microservices using Java/Vertx/Spring (or Go where applicable), gRPC/REST and related tooling.
- Participate in design and architecture reviews, performance tuning, and reliability improvements.
- Support CI/CD pipelines, observability (tracing/metrics/logs), and cloud deployments (Kubernetes/OpenShift).
- Troubleshoot production issues and collaborate with peers to ensure 24/7 availability and resiliency.

Requirements:
- Degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.
- Strong proficiency in Java (or Go) and experience with frameworks such as Vertx and Spring.
- Hands-on experience building distributed microservice architectures and low-latency systems.
- Familiarity with cloud-native patterns, containerization (Docker), orchestration (Kubernetes/OpenShift).
- Experience with messaging/streaming (Kafka), NoSQL/datastore technologies, and modern DevOps tools (Jenkins, GitHub).
- Solid understanding of observability, testing, CI/CD and agile delivery practices.
