Software Engineer at Novicap

Responsibilities:
- Build and maintain core platform components (Ruby on Rails, Python, JavaScript) from ideation through production and beyond.
- Implement and maintain REST APIs, integrations with third-party services and financial institutions.
- Write clean, secure and well-tested code; participate in code reviews and support zero-downtime CI/CD deployments.
- Contribute to system architecture, data modelling (PostgreSQL) and performance optimisations for a data-intensive platform.
- Collaborate closely with the Engineering Manager, product and other engineers; ship features and improvements iteratively.
- Onboard quickly, become an autonomous contributor and provide constructive feedback to raise product quality.

Requirements:
- Senior production experience in any modern tech stack (Ruby on Rails, Python, Java, .NET, PHP or similar).
- Experience with REST APIs, relational databases (PostgreSQL), cloud hosting (AWS) and CI/CD pipelines.
- Strong emphasis on clean code, automated testing and reliable deployments.
- Good communication skills in English and ability to work effectively in a multicultural team.
- Problem-solving mindset, ownership of end-to-end features and willingness to learn new technologies.
