Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain Python software for calibration and production test systems used in the camera production pipeline.
- Implement and maintain automated tests (pytest) and CI integration for calibration and production workflows.
- Build interfaces to hardware (motor controllers, jigs, temperature chambers) and to devices (3D cameras) on Windows and Linux.
- Integrate services and databases: build REST API clients, store and retrieve test results, and add metrics for monitoring throughput and quality.
- Extend production test coverage and add support for new camera models and hardware components.
- Improve calibration methods, speed, and test throughput; automate manual processes to scale production.
- Implement deployment and upgrade mechanisms for test stations and calibration jigs; configure new test/calibration stations.
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve technical issues to keep production stable and reliable.

Requirements:
- Strong Python skills (from studies, projects, or work) and familiarity with testing frameworks (pytest).
- Practical experience with Git, Docker, and common Python libraries (numpy, matplotlib) and REST APIs.
- Comfortable working on both Linux and Windows platforms and integrating hardware with software.
- Interest in automation, quality assurance, and production environments; ability to design reliable, maintainable systems.
- Good problem-solving, communication skills, and a collaborative mindset for a small cross-functional team.
- Degree in a technical field or equivalent experience; prior exposure to production testing, calibration, or hardware integration is a plus.
