Responsibilities:
- Design, build, and maintain internal review and enforcement tools: case queues, content review surfaces, decision/audit logs, and account-action workflows.
- Create reusable backend APIs, data storage, and services that let operations stand up new review workflows quickly and safely.
- Collaborate with operations, policy, and detection teams to translate reviewer pain points into product improvements that reduce handling time and errors.
- Integrate with upstream detection systems and downstream enforcement pipelines so flagged signals flow from detection → human review → action.
- Implement guardrails: granular permissions, audit trails, data-access controls, and reviewer-wellbeing features (e.g., content blurring, exposure limits).
- Instrument metrics on queue health, throughput, and decision quality; contribute to on-call and Foundations platform responsibilities.

Requirements:
- 4+ years of software engineering experience, with significant work on internal tools, operations platforms, or case management systems.
- Proficiency in frontend and backend tech: React, TypeScript, and Python; experience building APIs and backend services.
- Familiarity with data storage and analytics (Postgres, BigQuery) and cloud platforms (GCP/AWS).
- Strong product-minded approach, focus on usability, correctness, and operational safety.
- Experience with CI/CD, testing, security/privacy best practices, and instrumentation/observability.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work across operations, policy, and engineering teams.
