## About the role

Responsibilities:
- Join the pricing & underwriting domain to bridge ML/data science and engineering.
- Design and implement data product architectures for forecasting, feature engineering and customer behaviour use cases.
- Build and maintain robust, reusable data pipelines (batch and streaming) and data lake solutions.
- Define and apply best practices for data modelling, performance optimisation, governance and testing.
- Collaborate with data scientists and ML engineers to productionise features and models.
- Support continuous improvement through experimentation, tool evaluation and knowledge sharing.

Requirements:
- Expert in distributed batch and near-real-time processing (Kafka, Flink, Spark or equivalent).
- Experience with Databricks and cloud-based big data platforms (AWS preferred).
- Strong Python skills and engineering discipline (tests, CI/CD, code reviews).
- Solid SQL and data warehousing experience (Redshift, PostgreSQL) and familiarity with NoSQL.
- Practical experience with DevOps, CI/CD pipelines and IaC tooling.
- Nice-to-have: data quality/governance, MLOps/feature engineering experience and exposure to common ML tools.

## Responsibilities

Shape the architecture of data products for analytics and data science, focusing on forecasting, feature engineering, and data source integration. Build reusable data pipelines, collaborate with data scientists and ML engineers to refine data requirements and ensure reliable data infrastructure.

## Requirements

Expert in batch and near-real-time streaming data processing with Kafka, Flink and Spark; cloud-based AWS experience; proficient in Python and SQL; strong data warehousing (Redshift/PostgreSQL) and NoSQL skills; solid DevOps/CI-CD practices and IaC tooling. Knowledge of Data Quality and Data Governance is a plus.
