Team Lead - Product Engineer at Omnea

About the role

Responsibilities:
- Lead a cross-functional product team (engineers + PM + designer) and own technical direction and delivery for your area.
- Stay hands-on: write code, review PRs, unblock engineering challenges and deliver high-quality features.
- Make architecture and design decisions, balancing speed, maintainability and long-term quality.
- Drive prioritisation and roadmap trade-offs with Product and Design; ensure the team ships what matters.
- Coach, mentor and grow engineers; participate in hiring and onboarding as the team scales.
- Champion engineering best practices, testing, observability and incident response.

Requirements:
- Proven product-minded full-stack experience shipping web applications (TypeScript/React and backend services).
- Prior team lead or senior IC experience with responsibility for delivery and technical direction.
- Strong system design, code quality and debugging skills; comfortable with trade-offs in a fast-growing startup.
- Experience with AWS serverless architectures, PostgreSQL and modern CI/CD tooling preferred.
- Customer-focused, collaborative communicator who thrives in ambiguous, high-velocity environments.
