About the role

Responsibilities:
- Design, implement and operate cloud-native platforms to support AI applications, intelligent agents, APIs and data pipelines (Azure-focused, AWS as required).
- Develop reusable IaC modules, deployment templates and observability patterns to accelerate and standardize delivery.
- Automate infrastructure provisioning, CI/CD, monitoring, logging, secrets and cost controls.
- Influence cloud architecture for agentic systems, event-driven services and modern data platforms.
- Apply and maintain cloud security controls: IAM, encryption, secure configs and resilience measures.
- Set up monitoring, alerting, runbooks and incident response practices to ensure availability and performance.
- Work with country IT and cross-functional teams to onboard environments, troubleshoot deployments and scale successful use cases.
- Help move AI/data projects from experimentation into secure, production-ready platforms.

Requirements:
- 5+ years operating cloud-native applications and infrastructure with deep Microsoft Azure experience and practical AWS knowledge.
- Strong IaC skills (Terraform/Bicep/ARM), CI/CD experience and container platform knowledge (K8s/Docker).
- Proficient in Python and SQL; familiarity with TypeScript or similar is advantageous.
- Experience with observability tools (Prometheus/Grafana, Azure Monitor), logging systems and secrets tooling (Key Vault/Vault).
- Solid understanding of cloud security, IAM, network security and resilience strategies.
- Experience applying SRE/DevSecOps principles, automation and cost-optimization techniques.
- Effective communicator with experience working in distributed, international teams.
