About the role

Responsibilities:
- Design, build, and evolve the internal developer platform on AWS using Terraform with a focus on scalability, reliability, and developer experience.
- Automate infrastructure delivery via CI/CD (e.g., Spacelift) and expand self-service capabilities for product teams.
- Own and maintain core platform components to enable autonomous team deployments.
- Review pull requests, document patterns, and promote high engineering standards across the platform.
- Evaluate and introduce AWS services and cloud-native patterns where they add clear value.
- Define and enforce security, compliance, and resilience guardrails for platform usage.
- Collaborate closely with product teams to remove workflow bottlenecks and translate needs into scalable solutions.

Requirements:
- Strong hands-on experience operating large-scale AWS environments across compute, storage, networking, backup/recovery, and cloud security.
- Deep proficiency with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform) and CI/CD/automation tooling (experience with Spacelift a plus).
- Practical experience in platform engineering or building internal developer platforms.
- Demonstrated ownership mindset and ability to drive complex topics to completion.
- Clear, respectful communication skills and a collaborative approach to knowledge sharing.
- Systems and product mindset with focus on developer UX and making trade-offs for maintainability and speed.
