About the role

Responsibilities:
- Design, build and operate scalable cloud-native infrastructure for AI applications, intelligent agents, APIs and data pipelines (primary: Microsoft Azure; secondary: AWS).
- Create reusable infrastructure-as-code modules, deployment templates and standard observability patterns.
- Automate provisioning, CI/CD pipelines, monitoring, logging, secrets management and cloud cost controls.
- Define cloud architecture for AI workflows, event-driven services and modern data platforms.
- Implement and enforce cloud security standards (IAM, encryption, resilience, secure configuration).
- Establish monitoring, alerting, runbooks and operational practices to improve availability and troubleshooting.
- Collaborate with AI engineers, data teams and country IT teams to onboard environments, resolve deployment issues and scale solutions.
- Support transitioning AI/data solutions from prototype to secure, production-ready platforms.

Requirements:
- 5+ years hands-on experience building, deploying and operating cloud-native infrastructure with strong Microsoft Azure expertise and AWS exposure.
- Practical experience with IaC (Terraform/Bicep/ARM), CI/CD tooling and container orchestration (Kubernetes/Docker).
- Proficient in Python and SQL; familiarity with TypeScript or similar is a plus.
- Experience with monitoring and logging tools (Prometheus/Grafana, Azure Monitor), and secrets management (Key Vault/Vault).
- Strong understanding of cloud security best practices, IAM, encryption, networking and resilience.
- Familiarity with SRE/DevSecOps principles, automation, testing and cost-optimization practices.
- Proven ability to work in distributed, cross-functional and international teams.
