Responsibilities:
- Lead and grow a cross-functional engineering team across Software, IT, and QA.
- Own delivery of engineering initiatives, ensuring quality, timelines, and alignment with business goals.
- Hire, onboard, and scale the team; conduct performance reviews and support career development.
- Drive engineering excellence in architecture, development practices, testing, and process improvements.
- Coordinate stakeholder communication and ensure transparent reporting of technical progress.
- Maintain hands-on involvement in technical discussions to balance delivery and technical debt.
Requirements:
- Experience leading or managing software engineering teams with demonstrated delivery ownership.
- Strong software engineering background; exposure to embedded systems (C/C++) and Linux is preferred.
- Ability to balance people leadership with technical decision-making and delivery responsibilities.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and agile ways of working.
- Practical experience with Jira and Confluence for planning and collaboration.
- Ukrainian level: native. Nice to have: prior experience with UAV or hardware-software systems.
