Responsibilities:
- Own frontend systems end-to-end: platform UI, embedded manufacturing apps, component library and developer DX.
- Build polished interfaces for Kosmos that connect enterprise data, operational context and AI.
- Ship components, conventions and tooling (Storybook, design system primitives) to speed up other engineers and AI-assisted flows.
- Make architecture decisions that keep the frontend consistent, maintainable and scalable.
- Collaborate directly with founders, backend engineers and customers; iterate on real-world factory use cases.
- Champion usability, accessibility, performance and visual consistency; add testing and CI to protect quality.
Requirements:
- Strong JavaScript/TypeScript fundamentals; experience with React and modern frameworks (Next.js preferred).
- Hands-on with component libraries, design systems and tooling (Storybook, Tailwind, Radix or similar).
- Experience writing tests and end-to-end checks (Vitest, Playwright or equivalent).
- Good visual judgment and UX instincts; ability to turn recurring problems into reusable primitives.
- Practical experience balancing architecture vs. shipping velocity; able to design abstractions that scale.
- Comfortable learning unfamiliar tools quickly and using AI to accelerate engineering output.
- Interest or experience in complex interfaces (data grids, graphs, embedded apps) is a plus.
