Responsibilities:
- Build end-to-end data and model pipelines: source/augment/validate datasets, stand up training, fine-tuning, evaluation, and deployment flows.
- Design and implement evaluation frameworks, statistical tests, reliability checks, and continuous monitoring for model quality.
- Scale training and inference: leverage GPUs, distributed compute, and containerized workflows to optimize throughput and latency.
- Improve models post-training using supervised fine-tuning and reinforcement learning techniques; apply compression and optimization methods.
- Collaborate with research and engineering teams, contribute to shared codebases, and uphold engineering standards (tests, CI/CD).
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in ML, Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, or related field.
- Up to 2 years practical experience in ML engineering with strong Python skills and familiarity with modern ML frameworks.
- Experience using GPUs, Docker/containers, and job schedulers or cloud orchestration for training and deployment.
- Solid understanding of language modelling concepts, training/evaluation practices, and model architectures.
- Ability to read research, prototype quickly, and convert ideas into reproducible, production-ready code with good software practices (git, unit tests, CI).
