Lead Analytics Engineer, Borrowing at Referrals Only

Responsibilities:
- Serve as data architect for Borrowing: design scalable data models and end-to-end pipelines (primarily BigQuery).
- Build robust downstream datasets to support reporting, ML/LLMs, financial and regulatory use cases.
- Define and maintain data warehouse best practices: source payloads, logical modelling, metadata and testing.
- Drive data governance, lineage and integrity standards across Borrowing and partner teams.
- Lead platform initiatives to raise data quality, scalability and reuse across the organisation.
- Collaborate with engineering, product and analytics teams to prioritise work and deliver high-impact solutions.

Requirements:
- Strong SQL, data modelling and BigQuery experience; comfortable with data warehousing concepts and ETL.
- Experience building reliable, controlled datasets for reporting, ML and regulatory needs.
- Familiarity with analytics engineering practices (DBT, testing, metadata management) and streaming sources.
- Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams and set data standards.
- Strong ownership, strategic thinking about credit products and attention to data integrity and compliance.
