About the role

Responsibilities:
- Build and maintain a self-service developer platform focused on developer experience, abstractions, and reusable templates.
- Operate and optimize cloud-native infrastructure: manage Kubernetes clusters, cloud resources, and FinOps practices for cost efficiency.
- Design and improve CI/CD pipelines, GitOps workflows, and automation to reduce toil and accelerate delivery.
- Implement observability and monitoring (logs, metrics, traces) to detect issues early and support incident response.
- Drive reliability, fault tolerance, disaster recovery, and scalable patterns for production services.
- Partner with product and engineering teams to understand needs, propose pragmatic solutions, and evangelize cloud-native best practices.
- Document platform APIs, runbooks, and run periodic reviews to improve onboarding and developer productivity.

Requirements:
- 5+ years production experience with Kubernetes and container orchestration in cloud environments.
- Strong experience with one or more cloud providers (GCP, AWS, Azure) and infrastructure-as-code (Terraform, Ansible, or similar).
- Hands-on CI/CD and GitOps experience; familiarity with pipeline tooling and templating for self-service platforms.
- Proven knowledge of observability stacks (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, OpenTelemetry) and incident handling.
- Scripting and automation skills (bash, Python, Go, or similar) and experience reducing manual operational work.
- Good communication and collaboration skills; experience working with cross-functional teams to deliver platform capabilities.
