Responsibilities:
- Lead iteration on Wayve’s end-to-end L2 driving model: diagnose on-road issues, define fixes and deliver data/model changes.
- Own data recipes, model architecture, evaluation criteria and release readiness for driving products.
- Run experiments, write production code and balance hands-on development with directing team priorities.
- Collaborate across teams to resolve model ↔ vehicle interface issues and meet performance/compliance KPIs.
- Scale the driving model across geographies and vehicle platforms and help grow a small, high-impact team.
Requirements:
- Highly technical and hands-on: strong Python skills and experience shipping production ML models.
- Proven track record delivering ML for embodied AI, robotics or autonomous vehicles (production focus preferred).
- Experience with data-led iteration, model evaluation frameworks and improving live systems over time.
- Comfortable acting as an individual contributor and/or technical leader; able to mentor and set priorities.
- Strong cross-functional collaboration skills to drive safety, performance and commercial milestones.
