Responsibilities:
- Lead the post-training and closed-loop pipelines for Gaia: fine-tuning, alignment, experimentation and targeted data curation.
- Own large-scale training runs and productionised training workflows; design and execute experiments to improve downstream driving metrics.
- Improve autoregressive/world-model generation for longer, more stable rollouts; optimise inference reliability and latency for deployment.
- Influence model architecture and training strategy decisions in partnership with Research, Applications, Simulation Engineering and Cloud teams.
- Mentor engineers and researchers, conduct reviews, and raise engineering/research standards across the team.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of relevant industry experience with hands-on post-training, fine-tuning or alignment of large-scale foundation models (language, video or similar).
- Proven experience with world models, autoregressive generation and long-horizon prediction; familiarity with diffusion/flow models and 3D vision is preferred.
- Strong engineering skills in modern ML stacks (PyTorch), distributed training and production ML tooling; experience debugging performance and reliability issues.
- Track record of translating model improvements into measurable downstream impact and working closely with cross-functional teams to deploy changes.
- Excellent collaboration, communication and technical leadership skills.
