Responsibilities:
- Lead and align a cross-functional team (engineers, researchers, PMs) to deliver AI Driver capabilities without direct authority.
- Own substantial work packages end-to-end: define problems, set strategy, prioritise scope, sequence work and drive delivery.
- Translate R&D and customer needs into a clear product roadmap; prioritise capabilities to maximise impact and de-risk delivery.
- Set, track and report KPIs and milestones; establish team operating rhythm and decision checkpoints.
- Engage with senior engineers, researchers and partners on technical trade-offs; remove blockers and enable progress.
- Communicate across audiences: technical reviews, executive updates and customer-facing briefings.
Requirements:
- Proven track record owning and delivering substantial, complex technical work packages with cross-functional teams.
- Strong technical depth in AI/ML, autonomy, robotics or related deep-tech domains; able to debate trade-offs with senior researchers/engineers.
- Experience in product management, technical programme management or equivalent on cutting-edge technical products.
- Excellent listening and communication skills; able to create alignment and motivate teams through ambiguity.
- Comfortable making decisions with imperfect information and iterating as outcomes and data emerge.
