Responsibilities:
- Provide technical leadership and own design decisions for assigned AI platform components (backend, frontend, databases).
- Design component- and system-level architectures and lead implementation across an internal AI IDE and related tools.
- Lead integrations with engineering systems (calibration tools, dyno/ECU data, middleware) to deliver end-to-end solutions.
- Define and implement CI/CD pipelines, deployment best practices (containerisation, orchestration) and DevOps workflows.
- Drive quality through test strategy creation, code reviews, and maintenance of testing libraries.
- Mentor and coach junior engineers; lead L3 escalations and root-cause analysis.

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience); ~4–5 years relevant software development experience.
- Strong programming skills in Python and TypeScript/JavaScript; experience with Electron and Svelte a plus.
- Hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD, Git, REST APIs and system architecture.
- Familiarity with LLM integration, prompt engineering, AI chat interfaces and AI-related databases.
- Experience integrating with automotive systems (ECU, calibration/dyno data) and enterprise system integration.
- Strong communication, design-review and mentoring abilities.
