Responsibilities:
- Design, implement and maintain high‑quality Android applications using Java and Kotlin following modern architectures (MVVM, modularisation).
- Integrate apps with platform features, external APIs, SDKs and secure storage; ensure secure-coding practices and regulatory compliance where required.
- Lead migration and refactoring of legacy codebases to modern, modular architectures while minimising user disruption.
- Build and maintain automated testing (unit/integration) and contribute to CI/CD pipelines for reliable builds and deployments.
- Analyse and optimise app performance (startup, memory, responsiveness) and add logging/monitoring for production support.
- Collaborate with QA, product, design and backend teams; participate in code reviews and mentor junior developers.

Requirements:
- BS/MS in Computer Science, Engineering or related discipline.
- 5+ years of hands-on Android development experience with Java and Kotlin and familiarity with Android Studio and Gradle.
- Strong background in modular architecture, secure coding, automated testing, CI/CD and performance optimisation.
- Experience debugging complex issues, integrating with APIs/SDKs and improving observability.
- Good communication, client-facing skills and a track record of mentoring or people-development activities.
