Senior Backend Engineer I Poland relocate to UAE at PixelChain

Responsibilities:
- Partner with product teams to translate requirements into scalable, well-architected backend services.
- Own the full web application lifecycle: design, implementation, testing, deployment, and maintenance.
- Design and improve microservices architectures for performance, reliability, and scalability.
- Implement automated unit and integration tests; maintain CI/CD pipelines.
- Participate in on-call rotations, incident response, and post-mortems to improve system resilience.
- Optimize systems for throughput and latency: profiling, indexing, partitioning, sharding, and concurrency tuning.
- Collaborate across teams, review code, and mentor junior engineers.

Requirements:
- 5+ years of hands-on backend development with Java / Java Core.
- Practical experience building microservices and distributed systems.
- Proficiency with relational and NoSQL databases (MySQL, MongoDB, Redis) and data modeling.
- Experience with messaging systems (Kafka, RabbitMQ, ActiveMQ).
- Familiarity with AWS cloud services and containerization (Docker).
- Strong fundamentals in data structures, algorithms, and system design.
- Proven skills in performance tuning, concurrent programming, and scalability techniques.
- Test-driven mindset with experience in JUnit and Mockito; comfortable in Agile teams.
