About the role

Responsibilities:
- Design and build backend services and APIs using Node.js and/or Java following OpenAPI/REST best practices.
- Integrate and maintain connections to multiple internal systems and 3D rendering services.
- Maintain and improve architecture to keep services scalable, testable, and maintainable.
- Own CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices to ensure smooth delivery and operations.
- Collaborate with product, UX, and other engineering teams to deliver user-focused solutions.

Requirements:
- Senior-level experience in Node.js and/or Java backend development with production deployments.
- Strong experience designing APIs with OpenAPI/REST and integrating distributed systems.
- Hands-on CI/CD and DevOps experience; familiarity with automated pipelines and deployments.
- Understanding of data and information flow between components and services.
- Comfortable working with component-driven UI concepts and spec-driven development.
- Fluent English; experience with 3D visualization, event-driven architectures, or retail planning is a plus.
