About the role
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain Java backend services in a cloud-native environment.
- Operate production services to ensure high availability, reliability, and performance.
- Monitor and troubleshoot distributed systems; participate in incident response and RCA.
- Improve observability by implementing logging, metrics, monitoring, and alerting.
- Automate operational and deployment tasks; maintain CI/CD pipelines.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to continuously improve delivery and operations.
Requirements:
- Strong Java development skills with hands-on production experience.
- Practical experience with Microsoft Azure and cloud-native services.
- Familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD tooling.
- Experience with containers and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Knowledge of observability tools, logging, monitoring, and incident troubleshooting.
- Scripting/automation skills and proficiency with Git.
- Fluent English; ability to work in an international, hybrid team.
