Responsibilities:
- Design, implement and operate scalable Python microservices (FastAPI/Django) in a distributed architecture.
- Build and optimize backend systems for high-throughput and low-latency workloads.
- Integrate and maintain third-party APIs and external services.
- Architect and deploy solutions using AWS (including Lambda) and containerization (Docker).
- Improve and maintain CI/CD pipelines (GitLab), run production troubleshooting and performance tuning.
- Participate in code reviews, mentor engineers and promote engineering best practices.

Requirements:
- 5+ years backend experience with strong Python skills and FastAPI or Django expertise.
- Proven experience with microservices, distributed systems and high-load environments.
- Solid AWS experience (Lambda and cloud infra), Docker/container knowledge and CI/CD tooling.
- Familiarity with event-driven architectures (Kafka) and API integration patterns.
- Strong analytical and communication skills; remote-first collaboration experience.
- Experience in fintech/payments or high-throughput systems is a strong advantage.
