Responsibilities:
- Support software bring-up on benches, HiL systems and vehicles, including work at test sites and international locations.
- Develop and maintain vehicle-facing software components, middleware nodes (ROS2 or similar), and shared integration frameworks.
- Diagnose and resolve integration issues across embedded compute, sensors, networks and services.
- Build diagnostics, tooling, telemetry and metrics to improve system reliability and observability.
- Produce clear documentation, runbooks and reproducible test procedures for long-term supportability.
- Collaborate with hardware, safety, controls, calibration and reliability teams to drive coordinated delivery.
Requirements:
- Strong software development experience in C++, Python or Rust and shipping production-quality code on Linux-based embedded or robotic platforms.
- Hands-on experience integrating software with vehicle or embedded hardware (sensors, networks, compute modules).
- Familiarity with ROS2 or similar middleware, multi-process/distributed architectures and message interfaces.
- Practical knowledge of sensor calibration, synchronization, data validation and system-level debugging.
- Experience with vehicle networks (CAN, Automotive Ethernet) and automotive compute (NVIDIA DRIVE, Qualcomm Snapdragon Ride) is highly desirable.
- Ability to diagnose complex issues using logs, telemetry and systematic experimentation; willingness to travel for on-vehicle work.
