About the role

Responsibilities:
- Design, train, and optimise ML models powering mobile app features (NLP, CV and behavioural models).
- Research and apply state-of-the-art AI techniques to improve engagement and app performance.
- Build and maintain scalable ML pipelines for training, deployment, monitoring, and rollback.
- Integrate models into mobile products working closely with product managers, engineers, and designers.
- Analyse large datasets to extract insights, validate experiments, and improve model quality.
- Optimise models for mobile constraints (latency, memory, on-device inference) and monitor production health.

Requirements:
- ~4+ years of experience in AI/ML engineering; mobile-app experience is strongly preferred.
- Proficiency in Python and ML frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch) and experience with model training and tuning.
- Experience across deep learning areas: NLP, computer vision, and statistical modelling.
- Familiarity with cloud ML services (AWS, GCP, Azure), production deployment, CI/CD and monitoring.
- Strong software engineering fundamentals, data handling skills, and ability to work in a remote, cross-functional team.
- Good problem-solving skills and a demonstrated drive to iterate quickly and ship product-focused ML solutions.
