Responsibilities:
- Design and maintain enterprise semantic models and tabular datasets to support BI and analytics use cases.
- Build, optimize and govern Power BI datasets, measures (DAX) and storage modes for performance and scalability.
- Manage Power BI Premium capacity: query cost controls, workspace administration, governance and access policies.
- Implement data engineering tasks: ETL/ELT pipelines, data transformations, partitioning and incremental refresh strategies.
- Ensure data governance, security and Row-Level Security (RLS) across semantic models and reports.
- Optimize performance across T-SQL, stored procedures, DAX and VertiPaq storage; troubleshoot bottlenecks.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders and cross-functional teams to gather requirements and define KPIs.
- Support key users of Power BI / Microsoft Fabric and keep solutions aligned with cloud and AI best practices.

Requirements:
- Advanced Power BI expertise: administration, governance, DAX, Premium environments and storage modes.
- Strong SQL Server / Azure skills, including advanced T-SQL and experience with large-scale data environments.
- Proven data modelling experience (semantic models, TOM/TMDL) and familiarity with Tabular Object Model concepts.
- Hands-on data engineering experience: ETL/ELT design, pipelines and Azure Data Factory or equivalent tooling.
- Demonstrated performance tuning skills for T-SQL, DAX and storage/refresh strategies (partitioning, incremental refresh).
- Solid understanding of data governance, security, access control and RLS implementation.
- Desirable: experience with Microsoft Fabric, lakehouse architectures, Direct Lake/Import/DirectQuery trade-offs, Power Query/M and version control (Git).
