About the role
Responsibilities:
- Contribute to Java-based feature development and testing under senior engineer guidance.
- Apply AI concepts (RAG, search optimisation) to support product features and experiments.
- Participate in agile ceremonies, code reviews, documentation and software maintenance.
- Help implement technical optimisations and learn microservices, container orchestration and distributed systems concepts.
- Grow engineering skills over the internship with mentoring and hands-on tasks.
Requirements:
- Pursuing or recently started a master's in AI (or similar) following a bachelor in Computer/Telecommunications Engineering or related field.
- Practical experience or coursework/projects involving RAG, search optimisation or databases for AI applications.
- Basic Java programming and software engineering foundations; familiarity with SOLID principles.
- Interest or exposure to microservices, Kubernetes and distributed systems; Kafka is a plus.
- Good communication skills in English, collaborative mindset and strong problem-solving ability.

You will assist in developing and testing Java-based software solutions while applying AI knowledge to technical optimizations. You will collaborate with senior engineers in an agile environment, participating in code reviews and software maintenance.
Requirements
Candidates must be pursuing a master's degree in AI or a related field, following a bachelor's degree in Computer or Telecommunications Engineering. A strong foundation in software engineering, programming, and familiarity with AI-related projects is required.
