About the role

Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with stakeholders to turn ambiguous requests into clearly defined business problems via structured discovery and questioning.
- Assess data availability and perform exploratory analysis to surface patterns, gaps, and quality issues.
- Transform raw data into clean, trusted datasets and design data models that reflect business logic.
- Build MVP dashboards (Power BI/Tableau), iterate quickly based on user feedback, and highlight key decision metrics.
- Communicate findings to non-technical stakeholders through concise visualisations and presentations.
- Document data products, calculations, and processes so others can understand, trust, and reuse your work.
- Identify automation opportunities to scale solutions beyond one-off reports.

Requirements:
- Degree in Maths, Economics, Statistics, or related STEM field preferred.
- ~2 years of BI/data experience with hands-on use of Power BI or Tableau.
- Strong skills in data transformation, data modelling, exploratory analysis and data quality assessment.
- Practical knowledge of descriptive and univariate statistics to validate insights.
- Excellent written and verbal communication; able to present to non-technical audiences.
- Comfortable working remotely and collaborating in cross-functional teams; takes ownership and iterates in small steps.
