About the role

Responsibilities:
- Design, implement and optimise security controls for network, data centre and cloud environments (firewalls, IDS/IPS, segmentation).
- Operate and improve vulnerability management, patching and remediation workflows.
- Support and lead incident response investigations; perform root-cause analysis and drive remediation.
- Improve logging, monitoring, alerting and threat-detection capabilities across infrastructure.
- Automate repeatable tasks and security controls using scripting and tool integrations.
- Partner with global infrastructure, security and compliance teams to define and enforce security standards.

Requirements:
- 3–5 years’ experience in security, network or infrastructure engineering roles.
- Strong hands-on knowledge of firewalls, IDS/IPS, vulnerability management and enterprise network security.
- Experience securing virtualised and cloud environments (Azure and/or AWS desirable).
- Familiarity with incident response, threat detection and logging best practices.
- Scripting/automation skills (PowerShell, Python or similar) and a pragmatic, security-first mindset.
- Strong collaboration and communication skills; proactive problem-solving and attention to detail.
