Responsibilities:
- Build and ship end-to-end features across a React frontend and Node.js backend, delivering user-facing functionality and backend services.
- Use AI-assisted development tools daily to accelerate design, coding, testing, and reviews.
- Read, navigate, and extend an existing production codebase safely and respectfully.
- Write automated tests (unit, integration, component) alongside production code using Jest/React Testing Library or equivalents.
- Participate in code reviews: provide clear feedback and act on review suggestions.
- Deploy, monitor, and debug changes on AWS using CDK and CloudWatch logs.
- Work with product and design to turn requirements into tested, production-ready software.

Requirements:
- Production-ready TypeScript or JavaScript experience (projects, internships, or coursework accepted).
- Familiarity with React for building component-based UIs and understanding client-server interactions.
- Experience or comfort with REST APIs and backend logic (Node.js/Fastify or similar).
- Able to read and reason about unfamiliar codebases and extend them safely.
- Experience writing automated tests (Jest, Vitest, or similar) and using Git workflows (branching, PRs, conflict resolution).
- Fluent use of AI coding tools (Copilot, Claude, Cursor, etc.) as an everyday productivity aid.
- Nice-to-have: AWS experience (Lambda, SQS, CDK), SQL and migrations, monorepo familiarity (Nx/Turborepo), and backend experience with Fastify/Express.
