Responsibilities:
- Act as data architect for Borrowing: design scalable, analytics-ready data models and medallion architectures (Gold/Curated layers).
- Build robust BigQuery datasets downstream of backend services to support reporting, ML/LLMs, financial and regulatory use cases.
- Define and steward DW best practices: source payloads, logical modelling, metadata, testing and documentation.
- Champion data governance, lineage and compliance prioritisation across teams.
- Lead cross-functional initiatives to elevate platform standards and enable scalable analytics.
- Share knowledge, mentor others and collaborate with product, engineering and analytics stakeholders.

Requirements:
- Strong expertise in SQL, BigQuery and data modelling; comfortable with modern data warehouse patterns.
- Experience delivering production-grade datasets for analytics, ML and regulatory reporting.
- Familiarity with analytics engineering tooling (DBT, testing, metadata/catalogues) and orchestration.
- Proven technical leadership, stakeholder communication skills and strategic thinking about credit products.
- Commitment to data integrity, governance and scalable platform design; distributed/remote working experience a plus.
