Lead Data Scientist at Referrals Only

Responsibilities:
- Own and evolve the data strategy to improve customer experience and business outcomes.
- Lead experimentation practices: design A/B tests, set success metrics, and ensure rigorous analysis for product decisions.
- Collaborate with product, engineering, design, and research to turn data insights into prioritized product iterations.
- Set standards for data quality, tooling, and knowledge sharing across teams; mentor and grow data talent.
- Provide clear, actionable recommendations and measure impact of initiatives.

Requirements:
- Proven experience leading data science efforts and shaping data strategy in product-driven organisations.
- Strong experimentation and statistical analysis skills, with experience defining metrics and interpreting results.
- Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and influence product and commercial decisions.
- Track record mentoring data scientists and analytics engineers and improving data practices.
- Comfortable with analytics tooling and self-serve platforms (e.g., Looker) and advocating best practices for data quality.
