Responsibilities:
- Own stable, versioned platform APIs and SDKs: design interfaces, compatibility rules, docs, and examples.
- Implement backend services (FastAPI) for enforcement, evidence, policies, and red-team results.
- Design and enforce authentication, sessions, API keys, authorization, and rigorous multi-tenant isolation.
- Build data and event interfaces, real-time streams, and a tamper-evident audit ledger.
- Create onboarding flows, policy integration, and operator dashboards for customers.
- Lead testing and deployment practices across API compatibility, browser smoke tests, Cloud Run, and Cloud SQL.
Requirements:
- Product-minded platform engineer with strong backend HTTP API experience.
- Proficient in Python and FastAPI (preferred); comfortable designing API versioning and SDK compatibility.
- Experience with observability and tracing, relational databases, and database migrations.
- Deep understanding of authentication, authorization, API keys, and multi-tenant access control.
- Frontend skills in JavaScript and React to build operator-facing surfaces.
- Able to work independently, handle technically uncertain customer problems, and partner directly with founders and customers.
