Responsibilities:
- Build and maintain integrations with security and observability tools (e.g., Splunk, SIEMs), including clear setup and monitoring.
- Implement data pipelines to ingest, validate and transform security telemetry, handling inconsistent formats and incomplete records.
- Define clean interfaces between integrations and the core product, collaborating with platform engineers.
- Ensure production reliability via testing, monitoring, informative errors and safe credential/sensitive-data handling.
- Investigate customer integration issues, convert recurring problems into product improvements, docs and reusable patterns.
Requirements:
- Proven software engineering experience with testing, debugging and code review practices.
- Familiarity with data engineering concepts: ingestion, transformation, data quality and pipeline reliability.
- Experience integrating with APIs and external systems (authentication, pagination, rate limits, error handling).
- Ability to work from incomplete requirements, learn unfamiliar systems and deliver practical implementations.
- Strong communication and ownership through deployment and ongoing support.
