Responsibilities:
- Design, implement and ship customer-facing Android features for the Wise Assets product.
- Collaborate with PMs, designers and backend engineers to plan releases, instrument features and monitor adoption and health metrics.
- Write maintainable, testable code; own code reviews, CI pipelines and production rollouts.
- Mentor peers, contribute to hiring, and help raise engineering standards across the Android team.
- Prioritise work with a product mindset focused on user experience and measurable outcomes.

Requirements:
- Strong proficiency in Kotlin and experience delivering production Android apps.
- Familiarity with modern architectures (Unidirectional Data Flow), Dependency Injection and structured concurrency with Kotlin Coroutines.
- Good understanding of REST API design, testing strategies and CI/CD workflows (Gradle, GitHub Actions preferred).
- Experience or interest in declarative UI (Jetpack Compose), observability and performance tuning.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills; ability to make data-driven decisions and explain technical trade-offs to non-technical stakeholders.
