Responsibilities:
- Implement and operate secure, scalable cloud platforms across Viridien and client environments.
- Build and automate cloud foundations: networking, identity, governance, policy enforcement, and security controls.
- Design, deploy and manage Kubernetes platforms (primarily AKS) and production workloads.
- Create and maintain Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform, Bicep) and reusable modules for consistent deployments.
- Build CI/CD pipelines and release processes to enable repeatable, auditable rollouts.
- Implement monitoring, alerting, backups, and disaster-recovery plans; produce runbooks and operational documentation.
- Collaborate with software, data and operations teams to support deployments, incident response and continuous improvement.

Requirements:
- Proven experience designing and delivering production cloud environments in Microsoft Azure.
- Strong Kubernetes experience, ideally with AKS, including day-2 operations and troubleshooting.
- Hands-on IaC skills using Terraform and/or Bicep; experience creating reusable modules.
- Experience building CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment workflows.
- Solid cloud security knowledge: IAM/RBAC, network segmentation, secrets management, encryption and policy-as-code.
- Scripting and automation skills (PowerShell, Python, Bash) and good networking fundamentals.
- Experience with monitoring, vulnerability management, DR and operational documentation.
