Responsibilities:
- Own major cloud platform initiatives end-to-end: design, migrate, cutover, and retire legacy systems across AWS (primary) and GCP.
- Deliver DevOps work for revenue- and compliance-critical launches on firm deadlines.
- Modernize GitOps, ingress, and infrastructure-as-code to reduce drift and manual toil.
- Improve observability and incident response: close alert gaps, lead incident resolution, and run blameless postmortems.
- Define technical direction across a broad legacy-heavy stack and raise team capability through mentoring and documentation.
- Act as DevOps contact for acquired teams and participate in on-call/support rotation.
Requirements:
- Senior-level experience with cloud platforms (AWS primary, GCP), Kubernetes/EKS, Terraform/Terragrunt, and Atlantis.
- Practical knowledge of ArgoCD (GitOps), Envoy Gateway, Prometheus/Grafana, OpenSearch, Okta, and Vault.
- Proven track record owning production outcomes and driving migrations to production.
- Strong problem-solving: decide under uncertainty, coordinate stakeholders, and deliver ambiguous initiatives to completion.
- Good communicator who documents decisions, shares knowledge, mentors peers, and participates in postmortems.
- Comfortable adopting AI-assisted/agentic development workflows and new tooling quickly.
