Responsibilities:
- Design, implement and improve security platforms, tooling and integrations across cloud, SaaS and enterprise systems.
- Evaluate and introduce new security capabilities, including AI-enabled detection, automation and orchestration tools.
- Work with observability and ops teams to ensure telemetry, monitoring and meaningful security insights are available.
- Lead investigation and technical resolution of security incidents, vulnerabilities and platform risks.
- Collaborate with architecture, policy and compliance teams to align solutions with standards and regulatory requirements.
- Influence stakeholders across technology and security teams to embed security best practices and improve resilience.

Requirements:
- Strong background in cyber security engineering with hands-on experience deploying and operating security tooling (SIEM, EDR, detection platforms).
- Experience with cloud-native security, observability, telemetry and automation of security workflows.
- Proven ability to investigate incidents, triage technical issues and coordinate remediation across teams.
- Knowledge of compliance/regulatory requirements and experience delivering secure integrations across cloud and enterprise platforms.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills; able to influence technical and non-technical audiences.
- Willingness to work hybrid from Manchester and support flexible working arrangements as required.
